Description
xBAK 448440 BAKFlip MX4 Hard Folding Cover for Toyota Tundra
A matte-black hard folding tonneau cover for supported 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra trucks with a 5-foot-7-inch bed, excluding Trail Special Edition storage boxes.
Product Description
The BAKFlip MX4 uses aluminum hard-cover panels in a low-profile folding arrangement. Folding the panels toward the cab provides access to the bed without rolling a fabric cover or storing a retractable cover in a canister.
Part 448440 is selected by the Tundra bed and factory equipment, not simply the model name. Current manufacturer listings also describe a newer generation under the same part number, so confirm the supplied revision if generation-specific latch or installation details matter to your purchase.
Features & Benefits
- Hard folding aluminum-panel construction.
- Matte-black, low-profile presentation.
- Folding access provides a different opening format from roll-up and retractable covers.
- Specific Tundra bed/application selection with an explicit storage-box exclusion.
Compatibility & Applications
- Verify the supported 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra application and 5-foot-7-inch bed.
- This configuration will not work with Trail Special Edition storage boxes. Confirm any other bed accessories and the supplied cover revision.

Key Points & Helpful Resources
- Identify factory storage boxes before selecting the Tundra cover.
- Confirm revision-specific features with MyTruckPoint rather than assuming every 448440 package has the latest generation’s components.
Why Choose This Product?
The MX4 suits buyers who prefer a low-profile hard-panel cover with folding bed access. The exact bed and storage-box requirements are the important buying checks; generation-specific improvements should be confirmed against the actual supplied package.
Ideal For
- Supported Tundra 5-foot-7-inch beds without the excluded storage boxes.
- Owners preferring folding panels to a roll-up mechanism.
- Buyers coordinating hard-cover access with other bed equipment.
