Improve traction on your 1999-2016 Ford F250 / F350 Super Duty 4WD Long Bed without limiting wheel travel with a BDS Recoil Traction Bar Mounting Kit made with heavy wall construction and internal compression springs that can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. Full float design for bind-free performance and can be installed with a range of lift heights.


Specifications:

Description_MKT Fabricated from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC-machined end at the frame. Axle mount uses BDS's ultra-durable large-forged flex end and jam nut. Using a forged housing with large 1-1/4-nch x 12 threaded shank a single sided snap ring and 1-piece flex ball the flex ends are capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end the bar uses a durometer specific polyurethane bushing and free floats in the traction bar utilizing a pair of dual stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings.

Returns & Cancellations

In-Stock Items

  • Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
  • 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.

Backorders / Special Orders

  • 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
  • Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
  • Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
  • Payment Disputes: Chargebacks do not cancel orders — please contact us directly.
