Product Description
Champion pioneered the use of iridium in aviation and industrial applications nearly 30 years ago. ChampionÛ Iridium plugs feature an extremely fine-wire iridium center electrode and "laser-locked" platinum V-trimmed ground electrode to ensure superior service life and erosion resistance. In addition, the iridium fine-wire center electrode and platinum V-trimmed ground electrode deliver Champion's trademark ultra-sharp spark focus. Iridium is the precious metal of choice for today's O.E. engine manufacturers worldwide. That's because of its stabilizing effect on ignition voltage and its excellent wear characteristics, which can extend the tune-up cycle for many engines.
