Enjoy automatic trailer coupling with the unique auto-locking mechanism of this SecureLatch pintle hook. Just back up to the trailer tongue -- the integrated striker plate helps stop and center the lunette ring. Drop the ring onto the hook, and the SecureLatch mechanism automatically engages the primary lock. Just insert the secondary safety pin and you're ready to tow. This unique pintle hook also has a cupped design to hold the lunette eyelet more tightly and deter chucking noises. This pintle hook is rated for 30,000 pounds gross trailer weight and is constructed from austempered cast iron for superior strength and wear resistance. It fits 2-1/2-inch or 3-inch lunette rings. NOTE: SecureLatch slotted pintle mount required for installation (pintle mount and bolts sold separately).

Returns & Cancellations

In-Stock Items

  • Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
  • 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.

Backorders / Special Orders

  • 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
  • Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
  • Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
  • Payment Disputes: Chargebacks do not cancel orders — please contact us directly.
