The factory intake tract on the 2022 to 2023 Honda Civic and Acura Integra is very restrictive from the factory and limiting power output by choking the turbo. The new Injen SP1586 cold air intake opens up that intake tract with a massive 3.00 Inch aluminum intake tube that transitions into Injen Technology’s patented step-down process called, MegaRam® Technology (or MR Technology® for short). This patented MegaRam® Technology allows the engineers at Injen to fine-tune fuel trims and maximize power output. Directly after the MR Technology® step-down, the system briefly enlarges to 2-1\/2 Inch before entering the factory turbo inlet. This is done to maintain airspeed for improved throttle response.
