In 2008, we set out to rethink the hitch rack from the ground up. We tinkered, we engineered, we evolved. The final creation could be the best way to transport bikes on your car. Ever.

When we started designing this hitch rack, we knew we wanted bike hauling with no contact on the frame, integrated LED taillights, adjustable tire chock slides for all bike sizes and tires, and the most durable materials and coatings. All things we knew we wanted in a hitch rack but had never seen together in one.

Until now. Meet the Piston® Pro X hitch rack. This bike rack is all metal and can safely transport bikes and electric bikes weighing up to 67 lbs. per tray. With just one tap the pneumatic arms open wide, grab your bike tire perfectly, with no contact with the frame.

And we went there with Kashima coating. Beautiful and amazingly durable, it surely makes bells and whistles jealous.

Whether you’re rolling on smallish wheels or beefy tires, you won’t need any adapters or tools to make them fit. Just squeeze and slide the adjustable wheel chocks to hold 18”-29” tires.

Plus, our brightest idea yet. The integrated LED taillights on this hitch rack. They synchronize seamlessly with your car, truck, SUV, or RV, providing enhanced rear visibility and on-road safety.

When it comes to security, the hitch lock keeps the bike rack secured so no one can slide it out when you’re not looking, and the semi-integrated 12mm cable lock makes sure your bike stays locked up tight while looking tight.

Free Shipping

  • Eligibility: Orders over $99 in the USA & Canada.
  • Exceptions: Oversized or heavy items may incur extra fees (we’ll notify you before shipping).
  • Non-Eligible Areas: Vancouver Island, Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & other U.S. territories.

Fast Shipping

  • Processing: Orders placed before 2 PM usually ship the same day.
  • Delivery Time: 2–5 business days via Purolator, FedEx, or Loomis Express.
  • Note: Delivery may take longer for distant warehouses or inter-warehouse transfers.

Special Orders & Backorders

  • Shipped via LTL Freight (items over 150 lbs or large dimensions).
  • We’ll confirm any added costs before shipping.

  • Special Handling Fees: Items like batteries may incur additional shipping fees.

Returns & Cancellations

In-Stock Items

  • Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
  • 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.

Backorders / Special Orders

  • 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
  • Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
  • Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
  • Payment Disputes: Chargebacks do not cancel orders — please contact us directly.

Core Fees

  • Not included in the purchase price.
  • Refundable upon return of the old part in usable condition.
