Alpha Systems 8011 Water-Based RV Roof Adhesive — 1 Gallon

Alpha Systems 8011 Water-Based RV Roof Adhesive — 1 Gallon — MyTruckPoint SKU JCKD_2020002238.

Bond supported single-ply RV roofing membranes with an acrylic water-based adhesive distributed by Lippert.

Product Description

Alpha Systems 8011 is an acrylic, water-based bonding adhesive supplied in a one-gallon container under Lippert SKU 2020002238. It is an adhesive for a compatible membrane-and-decking assembly, rather than a complete roof replacement kit.

Before starting a repair, identify the membrane and decking substrate and confirm the adhesive is approved for that combination. Surface preparation, application conditions and drying requirements should come from the applicable Alpha instructions, not an assumed universal coverage or cure time.

Features & Benefits

  • The cured bond remains flexible as the membrane moves.
  • Water-based formula for approved roofing applications.

Compatibility & Applications

  • Verify compatibility with the exact roofing membrane and substrate. Adhesive selection cannot be based only on the RV make or a generic rubber-roof label.
  • Send MyTruckPoint the relevant vehicle or equipment details, existing part number and installation requirements if you need help checking the application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this a seam sealant?

A: No. It is a bonding adhesive; use the appropriate sealant for seams and penetrations.

Q: Can I use it on any roof material?

A: Only use it where the membrane and substrate are approved for this adhesive.

Q: How much adhesive is supplied?

A: Lippert lists one one-gallon container for SKU 2020002238.

Q: Is this a solvent-based formula?

A: The manufacturer identifies it as an acrylic, water-based bonding adhesive.

Q: Is a roof membrane included?

A: No. This listing supplies the adhesive, not a roof membrane or complete roof kit.

Q: Can I skip surface preparation when using this adhesive?

A: No. Follow Alpha's preparation and application instructions for the actual membrane and decking substrate.

More product details & helpful resources

Key Points & Helpful Resources

  • Confirm the membrane and substrate combination before applying adhesive.
  • Plan quantity using the relevant application instructions; no universal coverage figure is promised.

Why Choose This Product?

This is useful when the repair specification calls for Alpha's water-based bonding adhesive in a one-gallon container. Matching the adhesive to the actual roof materials helps distinguish a bonding product from a seam sealant or roof coating.

Ideal For

  • RV roof work specifying Alpha Systems 8011.
  • Installers who have verified membrane and substrate compatibility.
  • Repairs needing bonding adhesive rather than a complete roof kit.
