Product Description
Keep the check engine light off with MagnaFlow OEM Grade Federal/EPA Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 49446. With features including free-flowing mandrel-bent tubing and highly corrosion resistant stainless steel construction, easily install this spun body converter yourself using the proper tools, no cutting or welding required. MagnaFlow's state-of-the-art metrology department uses the latest 3D scanning systems during research and development, so you can be confident that your new part will fit and function like the original equipment. By replicating the OE spun body design, the single laser fusion weld greatly reduces the possibility of a leak, and our compact, low-mass design also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed to fit the 2009 to 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007 to 2016 GMC Acadia, and additional vehicles. The included gaskets and hardware reduce the possibility of a leaking seal while avoiding the need to reuse corroded factory parts for installation. This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed Federal emissions requirements set forth by the EPA, complying with legal standards for OBDII Federally registered vehicles with California or Federal/EPA Emission systems.
Features & Benefits
- MagnaFlow Converters Have A Ribbed Body That Minimizes Expansion And Distortion
- MagnaFlow Converters Have A 1/2 Inch Lap-Joint Where The Necks Meet The Body, The Neck Does Not Extend Into The Converter Body Where It Could Hamper Exhaust Flow

- MagnaFlow Uses A Monolithic Honeycomb Catalyst, The Ceramic Is Designed For Maximum Flow And Surface Area, The Coating Method Is Strictly Controlled To Maintain Exact Specifications
- MagnaFlow Uses A Heavier Gauge Stainless Steel, Tip To Tip, Others Use Mixed Weights And Materials
- MagnaFlow Uses An Aluminized Or Stainless OEM-Style Ribbed Heat Shield That Creates A Rigid Wall Of Protection Against Heat And Adds To The Structural Stability Of The Converter
- MagnaFlow Installs A Factory Capped, 90 Degree Air Tube On “With Air” Converters, This Saves Time During Installation
- Limited 5 Year Or 50,000 Miles Construction Warranty And Limited 25,000 Miles Emission Warranty
