OPTIMA 8040-218 is a YELLOWTOP D35 sealed AGM dual-purpose battery for compatible starting and cyclic accessory loads. Exact manufacturer specifications list 12 volts, 620 CCA, 48 Ah and 100 minutes of reserve capacity.
Product Description
The D35 combines engine-starting capability with deeper cycling than a starting-only battery, making it suitable for compatible vehicles with winches, upgraded audio, lighting or other high accessory demand. SPIRALCELL AGM construction uses absorbed sulfuric-acid electrolyte and wound high-purity lead plates for vibration resistance and sealed, maintenance-free operation.
D35 fitment requires more than matching Group 35. Compare the exact case dimensions, SAE top-post polarity, hold-down, cable reach, hood clearance and charging-system specification. Accessory loads must remain within the vehicle charging system’s capacity.
