Torklift Β· Truck-Camper Turnbuckles

S9050A SpringLoad XL Turnbuckles β€” Pair

Torklift S9050A SpringLoad XL is a pair of spring-loaded hook-to-hook turnbuckles for Torklift TRUE frame-mounted camper tie-downs. Each adjusts through a 35–45-inch reach and uses an internal spring with a visible tension indicator to cushion the camper-to-truck connection.

Exact package scope

  • Two turnbuckles per set
  • Aircraft-grade aluminum/stainless construction with black finish
  • Internal springs and tension indicators
  • Square bodies for easier adjustment
  • Two sets are required to secure all four camper corners
  • Derringer quick-disconnect handles and locks are optional, not included

Frequently asked questions

Q: How many turnbuckles are included?

A: One S9050A package contains two turnbuckles.

Q: How many sets are needed for a camper?

A: Most truck campers use four anchor points, so two S9050A sets are required for all four corners.

Q: What is the adjustment range?

A: Each turnbuckle reaches from 35 to 45 inches.

Q: Can it fit a distance shorter than 35 inches?

A: Torklift states that the threaded rod must be cut to reach below 35 inches. Follow its instructions rather than forcing the turnbuckle.

Q: Are quick-disconnect handles included?

A: No. Compatible Derringer handles are optional accessories.

Q: Are locks included?

A: No. The turnbuckles are lockable with separately purchased compatible locks.

Q: What tie-downs should be used?

A: S9050A is designed for Torklift TRUE frame-mounted camper tie-downs.

Q: How is correct tension set?

A: Use the spring-tension indicator and Torklift instructions. Excessive tightening can damage the camper or tie-down system.
